Golf has a rich history in Chicago dating back to the late 1890s when train routes to the suburbs took city residents to some of the area’s most iconic courses. The connection between rail lines and golf courses was mapped out in the Golfers’ Green Book all the way back in 1901. We’ve brought that map back to life showcasing the ties that make Chicago a truly great golf city.
